Unable to open with master password since the update

Since the release of version 1.35.0, accounts with a master password shorter than 12 characters can no longer open their database.
Installation on Synology Docker.
How can we go back or unblock it?

With what client? I have no trouble logging in (or unlocking the vault or an item that asks for a reprompt) with the web-vault version 2025.12.0 and a password length of 8. (I had to create that account with an older version since newer clients require at least 12 characters when setting a password.)

Try avec 2025.12.1, 2024.12.1 and Web. Always "incorrect password".

Please elaborate. What kind of clients did you try it with and with what version? (Are you using a custom web-vault if you are trying with 2024.12.1? )

Do you mean Invalid master password. Confirm your email is correct and your account was created on vaultwarden.example.tld.? Please be more specific.

I mean technically the password could be incorrect if that is what the error message says. Or you might have a typo in the mail address.

Can you (enable the /admin panel and) check /admin/users/overview if the accounts still exist? You might also want to check the support string and the server logs?

Is there a way to reset the password?

It's very unlikely that you have account recovery enabled. If the database is corrupted you might be able to restore it from a backup.
