Ah.. After trying the webauthn.io test it's also happening there. This is probably not a vaultwarden issue, but I'll leave this open until i know for certain. |

This turned out, ironically enough, to be the fault of the Bitwarden app itself being the only enabled auto fill provider. If you are not logged into the app, it will fault out and not attempt to bring up the system ui. |

I had a similar issue. This didn't fix it, but switching my default browser to Firefox did. Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone else running into this problem. |

This turned out, ironically enough, to be the fault of the Bitwarden app itself being the only enabled auto fill provider. If you are not logged into the app, it will fault out and not attempt to bring up the system ui.
Enabling Google as a secondary provider fixes it, as when the Bitwarden app faults out the Google manager steps in, and is smart enough to then fall back to the system ui.
