To Simplify Rules Pop-Up

The current state of the Pop-Up is very confusing.

There are too many duplicate options to allow or deny a program in just one little popup.

Why not change it to something that everybody understands from the get go?

Basically, why not change the logic to 3 basic options in the program popup:

[Allow] [Deny] [Custom]

[Allow]: Unrestricted Access, Allow everything, local, lan, internet.

[Deny]: Completely block everything for that program, local, lan, internet.

(you could add a dropdown menu to the allow or deny button for a timed decision, like: [Allow] for 1m,5m,15m,1h,3h,1d or so)

[Custom]: Add customized rules to allow or block access for the program. in a following popup let users choose where to begin from: allow or block with further specific rules to restrict the programs access.

In the current state the list of programs is not sortable by programs that have restricted access to the internet.
Because any program that has customized restrictions are sorted under the "Allowed" category, despite maybe being restricted for several networks.

The list of programs really needs an option to be sorted by:

• completely allowed programs
• completely denied programs
• programs with custom rules

Click on Allowed/Blocked filter icons with counts on the top of Programs window.

Thanks for writing up, but I might have explained the problem imprecisely.

When I block an application to have only lan/local access and not internet, I would have to check "allow" in the popup first (which is highly unintuitively, as I'm going to -block- the app, or at least restrict it - for the internet), then click on the network filters ribbon and check "block internet traffic".

looking at the app list now, the app is sorted under the "allowed" apps, with a different icon ("home network"):

I would consider this app as a blocked app and not as an allowed app. and I can't sort the app list between "lan-only" apps and completely "allowed" apps, as they are all mixed up as "Allowed" apps.

f.i. when I click sort-by-action I wish it would sort by completely blocked apps, completely allowed apps, and then any customized apps (with rules, zones, etc.)

The popup is designed for simplicity to understand:

• Block action will block the "filterable" connections (see the Options: IP Addresses: LAN: "Filter local ..." flags)
• Allow action will allow the connections and adds ability to set additional Network Filters

Buttons on the Schedule row are for quick actions by one click.
